Oceania Cruises has opened for sale 12 individual segments of Oceania Aurelia’s inaugural 180-day Around the World voyage in 2028, providing shorter options ranging from 10 to 19 days.
The full voyage will depart Miami in January 2028 and visit destinations across 6 continents. Among the highlights are an 18-day sailing from Los Angeles to Papeete, a 14-day voyage from Sydney to Bali and a 12-day itinerary from Taipei to Tokyo.
Oceania Cruises Chief Luxury Officer Jason Montague said the segments were intended to allow guests to experience selected portions of the 180-day itinerary while travelling aboard a ship designed around spacious accommodations, personalised service and a residential feel.
A New Way to Experience a World Cruise
For many travellers, the idea of a full world cruise represents the ultimate bucket-list journey, but the reality of committing to six months at sea is not always practical. Oceania Cruises has responded to this demand by breaking its landmark 2028 Around the World voyage into a series of shorter, more accessible segments, each offering a distinct region, climate and cultural focus.

The Full 180-Day Voyage
The complete voyage departs Miami in January 2028 aboard Oceania Aurelia, the newest addition to the Oceania Cruises fleet. Over 180 days, the ship will circle the globe, visiting destinations across six continents and calling at ports in the Americas, the South Pacific, Asia, the Middle East, the Mediterranean and Northern Europe.
Oceania Aurelia will offer overnight stays in a number of key destinations, including Papeete, Bora Bora, Sydney, Bali, Tokyo, Bangkok and Mumbai. Two Oceans Odyssey: 17 days, departing Miami to Los Angeles on 19 January 2028. The sailing transits the Panama Canal and calls at ports in Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Mexico.
South Pacific Serenade: 19 days, departing Papeete to Sydney on 23 February 2028. Calls include Bora Bora, Pago Pago, Vava’u, Lautoka, Port Vila and Noumea.
Isles of the Orient: 14 days, departing Bali to Taipei on 27 March 2028. Ports include Jakarta, Singapore, Puerto Princesa, Coron, Manila, Salomague and Hualien.
Pearls of East Asia: 12 days, departing Taipei to Tokyo on 10 April 2028. Calls include Busan, Kagoshima, Nagasaki, Kochi and Osaka, blending Korean and Japanese destinations.
Treasures of Southeast Asia: 12 days, departing Hong Kong to Bangkok on 2 May 2028. The itinerary explores Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand, with calls at Hanoi (Halong Bay), Ho Chi Minh City, Sihanoukville and Koh Kood.
Timeless Mediterranean: 14 days, departing Istanbul to Barcelona on 20 June 2028. Ports include Athens, Katakolon, Messina, Salerno, Rome, Florence, Pisa, Livorno, Nice, Saint-Tropez, Sete and Palamos.
Additional segments cover the Indian Ocean, the Middle East, the Red Sea, Northern Europe and the transatlantic crossing, giving travellers the flexibility to explore almost every corner of the globe.
