First Access: Explore Azamara’s New 2028–2029 Sailings

Some journeys invite you to see more places. Others give you the time to feel at home in them. Azamara’s newly announced 2028–2029 sailings bring both possibilities together, with voyages spanning Africa and the Indian Ocean, the Mediterranean, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and the Caribbean.

The new collection is scheduled for a November 4, 2026 launch. For travelers already thinking about a particular destination or stateroom, now is the time to start comparing the routes. Deluxe Cruises can help you identify the voyages that fit your interests and check the offers available when you are ready to reserve.

Africa and the Indian Ocean aboard Azamara Onward

Azamara Onward is set to return to Africa and the Indian Ocean, with itineraries featuring places such as Saint Helena and the Seychelles.

Saint Helena’s remote setting will appeal to travelers who enjoy destinations that take an effort to reach. The Seychelles offer a different island experience, shaped by tropical scenery and the Indian Ocean. Together, they show the range of places that can become part of a longer voyage.

If this region is calling to you, consider more than the list of ports. Compare the overall sailing length, days at sea and time in each destination. Deluxe Cruises can help you assess which itinerary offers the pace you want.

Experience the Mediterranean in Local Season

A Mediterranean voyage can feel different when you have time to step beyond the best-known sights. The new Azamara Journey sailings emphasize exploration during local season, inviting travelers to enjoy regional food, historic neighborhoods and the everyday life of the places they visit.

Think about what you most want from your days ashore. You might favor a route with several cities to explore, or one that leaves more room for an unhurried meal and a walk through a smaller port. When comparing voyages, look closely at the published arrival and departure times as well as the destinations themselves.

Australia, New Zealand and Japan aboard Azamara Pursuit

For travelers who want to look farther afield, Azamara Pursuit is scheduled to explore Australia, New Zealand and Japan. The collection brings together cities, coastlines and distinct cultural traditions across a broad region.

These sailings can be especially rewarding when planned as a complete trip. A few days before or after the cruise may give you time to experience your embarkation or disembarkation city without rushing. Deluxe Cruises can help you compare the routes and consider the travel arrangements that work best around your voyage.

From the Mediterranean to the Caribbean aboard Azamara Quest

Azamara Quest offers another kind of journey: a transition from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean. It is a chance to experience the changing scenery and cultures along a longer route while settling into the rhythm of life aboard.

For guests who enjoy time at sea as much as time in port, this may be an appealing way to travel between regions. Review the full itinerary before choosing, particularly the balance of sea days, port calls and the total time you have available.

Azamara is promoting an Early Booking Bonus of 30% off cruise fares on eligible new bookings. The offer has conditions: the sailing must be within its qualifying advance-booking window, and eligibility, fare terms and combinability should be checked for the exact departure. It should not be assumed to apply to every 2028–2029 voyage or to stack with another promotion.

Deluxe Cruises can compare your selected sailing, stateroom category and available offers, then provide a written quote showing the fare and benefits that apply to you. If you already have a quote, share it for a like-for-like comparison before placing a deposit.
