Despite the COVID-19 pandemic,\u00a0Regent Seven Seas Cruises\u00a0is leading the charge for success and innovation in the face of these challenges.<\/p>\n

As of September 24, the luxury cruise line once again shattered the company\u2019s previous World Cruise opening day booking record, with reservations for 2023 doubling the previous record set by the 2022 World Cruise.\u00a0The line experienced the longest waitlist for a World Cruise in its history, with all Penthouse Suites and above selling out within a matter of hours when sales opened on September 23.<\/p>\n

In an exclusive interview for Forbes.com, Regent President and Chief Executive Officer Jason Montague told me, by phone, \u201cWe actually doubled last year\u2019s record and it shows how much pent-up demand there is for cruising, for an exotic cruise that will hit 72 ports of call.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Though only a few suite categories remain available due to the record-breaking launch day, fares range from $77,999 to $208,999 per guest with every luxury included \u2013 such as premium spirits, and\u00a0unlimited\u00a0shore excursions.\u00a0\u201cWe offer 356\u00a0free shore excursions across our itinerary,\u201d said Mr. Montague.\u00a0\u201cWe implemented a\u00a0Smartguide\u00a0system to use your\u00a0own\u00a0smartphone\u00a0and headset\u00a0to better hear what the tour guide is saying on\u00a0shore excursions. It enhances the experience for our guests. It\u2019s something we\u2019re just rolling out \u2013 as we get back into operations,\u201d according to Mr. Montague.<\/p>\n
