Some places are best understood one glass at a time. SeaDream Yacht Club’s 2027 Wine Voyages pair seven nights of Mediterranean yachting with hosted tastings and the chance to learn about the wineries behind each pour. Two featured sailings travel from Nice to Rome, each with a different mix of ports and guest producers.

If you love coastal towns, good wine, and the stories behind it, Deluxe Cruises can help you choose and book the voyage that fits you.

The Italian Riviera Wine Voyage sails aboard SeaDream II from May 9–16, 2027. It features Marchesi Antinori and Donnafugata, bringing the wine traditions of Tuscany and Sicily into the onboard conversation.

The French & Italian Wine Voyage sails aboard SeaDream II from August 15–22, 2027. Its featured wineries are Château Smith Haut Lafitte, from Bordeaux’s Pessac-Léognan region, and Masi Agricola, associated with the Veneto hills near Verona.

Both voyages begin in Nice and end at Rome’s port of Civitavecchia. The routes and guest wineries differ, giving you a choice between an itinerary focused more heavily on Italy and one that spends more time along the French Riviera.

The May voyage leaves Nice for a journey through some of the Mediterranean’s most appealing small ports. Portofino brings the color and charm of the Italian Riviera. Livorno offers a starting point for exploring Tuscany. The route also visits Capraia, Portoferraio on Elba, Bonifacio in Corsica, and Porto Ercole before arriving in Civitavecchia.

An overnight stay at Portoferraio gives you more time to experience Elba. That extra time is part of the pleasure of this itinerary: the island becomes more than a brief stop between ports.

On board, hosted tastings introduce wines from Marchesi Antinori and Donnafugata. Their different histories and regions offer plenty to discover, whether you already know their wines or simply enjoy learning as you taste. Conversations about the producers can add another layer to the places you see during the voyage.

If you want to explore beyond the yacht, ask about the Wine Yachting Land Adventures planned for this sailing. The precise winery visits, spaces, and prices should be confirmed for your booking. When requesting a quote, you can identify this departure as SeaDream II voyage 22719.

The August voyage offers a different coastal rhythm. After departing Nice, it visits Sanary-sur-Mer, St. Tropez, and Cannes before continuing to Portofino, Livorno, and Portoferraio. It is an appealing choice if you would like more time among French Riviera ports while still enjoying the Italian coast.

The featured wineries are Château Smith Haut Lafitte and Masi Agricola. Their hosted tastings bring French and Italian wine traditions together on one journey. Hearing about the estates while tasting their wines can give you a deeper appreciation of what makes each region distinct.

The ports offer their own opportunities between onboard events. You might spend a day enjoying the atmosphere of a Riviera harbor, then use a later call at Livorno to explore Tuscany. Deluxe Cruises can help you review the published schedule and ask which wine-focused shore experiences are available on SeaDream II voyage 22732.

The featured program includes two onboard tastings with the winemakers, giving guests the opportunity to hear the stories behind the wines firsthand. A Winemaker’s Dinner offers a further food and wine experience, while Wine Yachting Land Adventures can take interested guests to vineyards ashore.

The announcement states that the dinner and vineyard adventures are available at an additional cost. Before you reserve, ask us to confirm the current event schedule, what is included in your cruise fare, and the price and availability of any optional experience you would like to add.

Choose the May sailing if the Italian Riviera, Elba, Tuscany, and the wines of Marchesi Antinori and Donnafugata are your strongest draw. Choose August if you prefer a route with more French Riviera calls and the opportunity to taste wines presented by Château Smith Haut Lafitte and Masi Agricola.

Think about how you would like to spend your days ashore, too. Some guests will want to explore every coastal town independently. Others will build their trip around winery visits and the hosted events. The best choice is the one that brings together your favorite destinations and the experiences you most want to enjoy.

Deluxe Cruises can help you compare the two departures, check current stateroom availability and fares, and review the optional wine experiences before you book.

Explore SeaDream voyages, request a quote, or email info@deluxecruises.com.
