While Gleaves has previously worked with the North American and Australasia operations, this move will see him dedicated to the role and be based out of the\u00a0<span class=\"xn-location\">Santa Clarita, California<\/span>\u00a0office. He will be responsible for all aspects of sales, marketing, revenue management, customer service and guest relations for\u00a0<span class=\"xn-location\">North America<\/span>,\u00a0<span class=\"xn-location\">Canada<\/span>,\u00a0<span class=\"xn-location\">Australia<\/span>,\u00a0<span class=\"xn-location\">Japan<\/span>\u00a0and across the\u00a0<span class=\"xn-location\">Asia<\/span>\u00a0region. Gleaves will report to Sture Myrmell, President, Carnival UK.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-sm-10 col-sm-offset-1\">\n<p>&#8220;<span class=\"xn-location\">North America<\/span>\u00a0has always been fundamental to Cunard&#8217;s success with the Australasian region becoming a staple to the brand and that importance will grow significantly. Our new ship,\u00a0<span class=\"xn-person\">Queen Anne<\/span>, arrives in early 2024, we are increasing our sailings in\u00a0<span class=\"xn-location\">Alaska<\/span>,\u00a0<span class=\"xn-location\">Australia<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<span class=\"xn-location\">Japan<\/span>, and given the unique appeal of the brand we see further opportunities to grow the number of guests in these regions sailing across the fleet, including on the iconic Transatlantic Crossing on the only ocean liner in the world,\u00a0<span class=\"xn-person\">Queen Mary<\/span>\u00a02.&#8221; Gleaves continues, &#8220;We have fantastic teams in place and are investing further in all aspects of the local operations.
