When to go
Alaska
May–September is the core season, with some departures outside it. Early and late sailings can have cooler conditions and fewer available excursions.
Pacific Coast
Spring through autumn offers varied coastal possibilities. Pack for cool sea breezes and check the particular route rather than assuming California weather throughout.
Seasonal patterns are a guide. Weather, port calls and local conditions vary by voyage.

Does scenic glacier cruising mean I walk on a glacier?
No. Scenic cruising normally means viewing from the ship. Glacier landings or guided walks are separate experiences, when offered, with their own arrangements and conditions. Check both the itinerary and excursion description.
Are the listed voyages available to book?
The search shows published itineraries from our cruise collections, not live cabin inventory. Ask us to confirm the sailing, suite category, current fare and booking conditions before making travel arrangements.
How do I request a tailored cruise quote?
