Today, Genoa's old town new town features modern buildings, gardens and villas. Visitors will also find a number of splendid marble palaces from the 16th and 17th centuries.

The ship is scheduled to dock at the Stazione Marittima. It is approximately 1.5 miles to the town center. Taxis are generally available at the pier.
