Acapulco Princess Club de Golf

The Acapulco Princess was opened in 1971 and designed by course architect Ted Robinson. With its many water holes, and abundance of trees and bird life, the Acapulco Princess Club de Golf is a challenging and highly enjoyable park-land course. It is an 18-hole, par 72, 6355-meter course.

Porto Elunda Resort

The Porto Elounda Golf Complex is situated 7 km to the east of Aghios Nikolaos in what is generally considered the most beautiful part of Crete. Nestled into the hillside, the executive nine hole golf course, with a backdrop of mountains, blends harmoniously with its surroundings. It offers spectacular views overlooking the Bay of Mirabello and the Mediterranean coastline. Multiple tees create the impression of an 18-hole course. The distances between tees and greens range FROM 47 to 123 m. Each hole has its own individual character with numerous trees and pot bunkers. In addition, the complex has Practice Nets, a Driving Range, a Bunker and a nine hole Putting Green. A well stocked Pro-Shop provides every service required by the visiting golfer, including footwear, gloves, clubs etc. Golfers of all standards are welcome. A further highlight of the complex is the Golf Academy for beginners and for experienced players who wish to improve their swing. This is run by our resident British professional, John Grundy PGA., who is fluent in German and can instruct in French as well.

In May 1998 European Golf Design were awarded a contract to design two 18 hole golf courses in the region of Belek, 30km to the east of Antalya on the Turkish Mediterranean coast. Chosen for its outstanding beauty, the sandy site features a diversity of vegetation. At 7,023 yards, par 72, the golf course threads its way through magnificent Umbrella Pines, eucalyptus trees and areas of swampland. Views of the Mediterranean can be seen FROM the highest points on the course, the 5th green and 6th tee. The course was completed in May 2001.

Royal Antwerp Golf Course

This course was built in 1888 by Willie Park, Jr. and Tom Simpson. It is an 18- hole, par 73, 6378-meter course. Besides golf de Pau the Royal Antwerp Golf Club is one of the oldest established golf courses on the continent. It dates back to 1888, when it was constructed by Willie Park in an extensive area of woodland just north of Antwerp. It was modernized by Tom Simpson in 1920 and even today it retains its special character. Eighteen well-modeled fairways extend through heather, shrubs and bushes and various trees such as silver birches and pines.

Club de Golf Costa Teguise

Situated at the foot of an old volcano with ocean-view vistas FROM nearly every hole, the setting at Costa Teguise is magnificent. Built in 1978 and designed by John Harris, the course is blessed with warm temperatures all year. Straight greens are a pleasure to putt on, but beware of missing the fairway.

Konstantinos Karamanlis Golf Club

If the Gods of Olympus played golf then Glyfada's Golf Course would have been their first choice. This delightful 18-hole course, Par 72, only twenty five minutes FROM Athens, winds its way through umbrella pines with pent-grass greens leaning towards the sea and its cooling breezes. Whilst playing on a course studded with 15.000 pine trees a golfer can enjoy a scenic view of the Saronic islands and the Peloponnesian coastline and almost always play under idyllic weather conditions and of course, the perennial blue skies of Greece. The course was designed and built in 1962 by D. Harradine and in 1979 remodeled by the American Golf architect Robert Trent Jones. Regarding the Olympic Games of 2004 and for the next years the administration of the "Glyfada Golf Course" provides a development program. The Glyfada Golf Course is open all year round! The "Glyfada Golf Course" is renowned as one of Europe's most pleasurable and challenging golf courses, for even the most accomplished golfer. Situated just 25 minutes FROM the center of Athens and five minutes FROM the lively coastal resort of "Glyfada", the course is a short drive by our daily courtesy transport FROM your hotel. The "Glyfada Golf Course" offers an 18 hole, 6847 yards, par 72, championship course, created 35 years ago and which has matured into one of Europe's outstanding golfing venues. There are beautiful tree-lined fairways leading onto lush greens, providing excellent golf with the benefit of a Mediterranean climate especially for the winter season.

The Musick Point golf course (Howick Golf Club) is one of the most spectacular in the North Island, offering golfers 360 degree views of the Hauraki Gulf which with its adjacent rural landscape makes playing here a delight to the senses. The course layout offers a full 18-hole, 5409m championship round of golf with a welcoming clubhouse in which to relax and enjoy the company of friendly residents. Cliff-side holes are a feature.

Real Club de Golf el Prat

Designed by course architects J. Arana and D. Thomas, the Real Club de Golf El Prat is a 36 hole course with a par 72 rating. The course is situated on the lower coastal sandy area of the Delta de Llobregat a few kilometers FROM Barcelona. There are two 18 hole championship courses. The Yellow course has many water holes, is somewhat difficult, and has Bermuda greens that are good but slow. It is the flatter of two courses and has few trees. Both courses are characterized with flat fairways and difficult greens. The Green course is easier and is more attractive with more trees. Play on the fairways follows long green stretches among pinewoods and water obstacles.

Kerikeri Golf Club

Kerikeri golf course is of true championship quality and can be played by intermediate or beginner golfers by playing off normal club tees. This challenging 18 hole course is situated on the outskirts of beautiful Kerikeri. It is regarded as one of the best golf clubs in New Zealand due to its exciting layout of bunkers, water hazards and spectacular views. This course lays out to be 6,101 meters and many premier golf tournaments are played here.

The Royal Belfast Golf Club

An 18 hole, par 70 , 6184 course. The Royal Belfast Golf Club is one of the only four "Royal" Golf Clubs in Ireland and is also the oldest club in Ireland having been founded on the 9th of November 1881. This historic landmark was the inspiration for the growth and organization of the game in Ireland.

Carenage Bay Beach & Golf Resort

This 18 hole golf course 18 tees, 13 greens, par 72, covers an area of 24 hectares, half on the flat, flanking the coastline, and half on the hillside.

No details about the course are available at this time, but Bergen is nestled at the foot of dramatic mountains, on the west coast of Norway. The harbor is surrounded by colorful wooden houses, with many nice shops, especially for ski sweaters, painted wooden boxes and utensils, and other goods unique to Norway. The hillsides are lush green, and golfers can expect spectacular views.

Chateau des Vigiers Golf Club

Dating back to 1597, Chateau des Vigiers is an internationally renowned Golf & Country Club with a strong French flavor. It is an officially recommended resort of the PGA of Europe and a member of "Relais du Golf". The 425 acre estate is unique in that it combines a beautiful 400 year old Chateau an 18 hole par 72 golf course, its own vineyards, superb food and friendly multilingual service. Chateau des Vigiers received "the highest level of excellence" award for European Country Hotels FROM Johansens Hotel Guide in 1997 and the gold award for Best French Development FROM international property magazine in 1998. This club was voted among the top 50 Golf resorts in the world in 1998 by Golf Style International.

Brisbane Golf Club

The Brisbane Golf Club has a proud tradition of golfing pleasure. Since 1896 members and associates have enjoyed an exclusive yet friendly and supportive golfing environment. As the first golf club established in the Brisbane area, the course has hosted numerous State and National Championships and has evolved into a first class playing facility. The undulating terrain is challenging yet pleasurable to play.

Buenos Aires Golf Club

The Buenos Aires Country Club is a 27-hole course with a limited number of private residential home sites looking onto the course. The club hosted the Argentina Open, and South American Amateur, two of the most prestigious events in South America, in successive weeks, in December 1994, one year after opening. As the lead architect, in charge of design and construction, Kelly Blake Moran designed a system of inter-connected wetlands and lakes, including some that were adjacent to elevated fairways. The fairways were sloped and drained to the lakes and wetlands.

Club Montecastillo

Home of the Volvo Master's Cup, Montecastillo is mostly flat and features raised tees. But where the terrain takes control a downhill course has been laid out. An elevated tee looks down for forty meters over a broad sweep of fairway bordering a lake to the left with the green just beyond. There are long distances between green and tee and the panoramic 517-yard 9th hole is one of the favorites in Spain. Guests purchasing the Silver Links Golf Series package on voyage 4228 will play at this course. Guests purchasing an escorted golf excursion as part of the Silver Links 365 day program will play at either La Canada Golf Club or Valderrama Golf Club.

La Canada Golf Club

Few municipal courses can boast of being designed by Robert Trent Jones. This 9-hole, par 35, 2599 meter course is situated high above the town, there are superb views to the Rio Guadiaro, the Mediterranean and Valderrama Golf. Offers some challenging holes - most especially the 9th which is played over a dramatic gulley.
