Marking the start of Crystal Grace’s inaugural season, our 34-night odyssey showcases some true Mediterranean gems. We depart from Civitavecchia near Rome, stopping in lemon-scented Sorrento before hopping over to laid-back Igoumenitsa in Greece. Next is Montenegro and the labyrinthine fortress town of Kotor, followed by the ancient Croatian cities of Split and Zadar. Re-entering Italy, we visit the cultural melting pot of Trieste, Venice’s gateway Fusina, lively Ancona in Le Marche, and foodie-favorite Brindisi. Then it’s onto the lush Greek island of Corfu, the chic Turkish Riviera town of Bodrum, Piraeus near wonderous Athens, and the volcanic island of Milos. Discover Baroque architecture in Valletta, Malta, bustling street markets in Palermo, Sicily, the ruins of Carthage near Tunisia’s La Goulette, and the white-sand beaches of Cagliari in Sardinia. Spain offers up the coastal town of Motril, a short journey from the Alhambra, Valencia, birthplace of Paella, and lively Barcelona. We call at the French city of Toulon and embrace the glamour of Monte Carlo. Lovely Portofino in Italy comes next, then Livorno, a gateway to Florence’s cultural riches. We complete our journey back in Civitavecchia, with the marvels of Rome on its doorstep.
