| Our first port of call is Costa Maya, for a glimpse of the ancient Mayan civilization, and then we continue to Santo Tomas in Guatemala, with its majestic ancient ruins and delicious chocolate, and Belize City for more Mayan treasures. It's time now for a dip in the clear waters off the coast of Roatan - don't forget your snorkel, this tiny island has the second-biggest coral reef in the world. Relax onboard as we spend a day at sea crossing the turquoise waters of the Caribbean, bound for Puerto Limon in Puerto Rico for more beach action. Next comes historic Cartagena, where we overnight, leaving plenty of time to stroll the colorful streets and admire the astonishing 16th-century architecture. Next, we hop between Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao - the ABC islands. First is Willemstad in Curacao, a good spot to discover more about these islands' Dutch colonial past, then Kralendijk in Bonaire, to explore the kaleidoscopic world within its coral reef. This is followed by Oranjestad in Aruba, where the incredible nature in Arikok National Park is a must-see. There's more nature to enjoy at Tayrona Natural National Park at our next stop, Santa Marta, on the Colombian coast. Relax at sea for a day, bound for the exciting experience of cruising the Panama Canal, one of the great man-made wonders of the world.
